In class we talked about how the tributes, Katniss, Peeta, and Cinna was definite against the capital during the interview Caesar Flikerman.   

During Katniss session with the game maker, Katniss hung a dummy of former Head Gamemaker Seneca crane. On page 236 it says that she wanted to "break through the smug veneer of those who used their brains to find the amusing ways to kill the tributes . To make realize that while the tributes we're vulnerable to the capitols cruelties, the gamemakers are as well." This act was defiant because she is sending a message to the gamemakers that they are not safe. She is reminding them that the last Head Gamemaker was killed by Snow and that they are disposable as well.  

During his private session Peeta painted a picture of rue. On page 240 it says that "the audience cant absorb the information all at once the audience had to confirm it". This act was defiant because he is sending a message to the capital citizens that the capital killed a little girl. 

During the 2 minute talk with Caesar Cinna made Katniss into the mocking jay. On page 252 "why would Cinna arrange to burn my dress away . Clothed all in black except for the white patches on my sleeves or should I say wings". This was an act of defiance because the mocking jay is the symbol of the rebellion. 

During the interview with Caesar the tributes all hold hands in unity. "They didn’t cut the t.v. off in time".  This is defiant because they are trying to unify the districts.  

I have a felling that president snow would be most mad at Cinna's because he made the person that put fuel into the rebellion into a symbol of the mocking jay.
