In catching fire by Suzanne Collins she had many acts of defiance from many different people. Like she had Peeta saying Katniss was pregnant which got the capitol saying that its wrong for her to go in. Another one would be the tributes which reminds the capitol they're killing their champions. There are may more that will be explained.
Acts of defiance Katniss did was she hung a dummy of Seneca Crane in her private game maker session. On page 236 it says," she wanted to break through the smug veneer of those who used their brains to find amusing ways to kill the tributes. To make the game makers realize that while the tributes we're vulnerable to the capitols cruelties, the game makers are as well." It was an act of defiant because she's sending a message that the game makers are as safe as she is which means that they're not safe at all.
An act of rebellion for Peeta is in his game makers session he painted a picture of Rue covered in flowers. In the book Peeta said,'' I'm not sure I just wanted to hold them accountable if only for one moment for killing that little girl.'' This was an act of rebellion because it would
make the capitol mad because he's saying that they're using people that are dying for nothing just so they can control people.
The tributes caused an act of rebellion by all districts holding hands in unity. On page 258 it said,'' By the time the anthem plays it's final strains all 24 tributes stand in one unbroken line in what must be the first public display of unity among districts since the dark days. You can see the realization of this and the screen pops into blackness . It's to late though in the confusion they didn't cut us of in time. EVERYONE. HAS. SEEN. US.'' This an act of rebellion because they are going against president Snow and uniting the districts.

On page 252 of catching fire it said,'' Clothed in black except for the white patches on Katniss' sleeves or should I say wings. Because Cinna turned Katniss into a mocking jay.'' This was an act of defiance because in the war the mocking jay was a sign of rebellion and still is to Snow.
In conclusion how many acts of defiance are there in the book Catching fire? There are probably many more
